Libelula is the Romanian word for dragonfly. I know it may sound funny to you but to most of us this is a very beautiful word, exotic somehow... We like to pronounce it. :giggle:

I was always fascinated by them. They are friendly creatures. When I was a child at my grandparents' place, my cousins and I used to swim in the nearby river, and dragonflies were flying above our heads, like they were playing with us... Awe... childhood!! T_T

That's also the dutch word for dragonfly :)

But ofcourse thats now wonder as both languages derived from the same language long ago. :)
